Feed Checker

Feed Checker is a free Windows utility for observing a price feed, checking symbol activity, and estimating the network round-trip time to a feed server.

What it shows

Feed Checker can help with a quick, human-readable inspection:

  • current bid and ask values;
  • which symbols continue to update;
  • real-time price movement; and
  • a round-trip “ping” estimate between your computer and the data-feed server.

It is useful for an initial connection check. It is not a replacement for production monitoring, price-agreement testing, or an independent acceptance process.

The recording intentionally shows the public demo / demo login. It is a demonstration credential, not a production credential. Production connection details remain private and are issued separately to the authorized client team.

How to read the display

The symbol table shows the latest bid and ask values received by the application. An activity indicator helps confirm that updates continue to arrive rather than leaving one old value on screen.

The displayed “ping” is an application-level round-trip estimate between Feed Checker and the selected feed server. It is useful for comparing connection paths from the same computer, but it is not source-to-engine latency, execution latency, or an uptime guarantee.

The current published version is 1.4.0.0. It runs on Windows with .NET Framework 4.8 and ClickOnce support. These version details were last checked on 28 July 2026.

The application is hosted at downloads.latypoff.com. ClickOnce checks the signed deployment manifest and referenced files before startup, and checks for a published update when the application opens. Corporate devices may require approval for ClickOnce or externally hosted software. Follow your organization’s normal security review before installing it.

CoinPriceFeeds does not collect a user’s feed address or credentials through this website. Values entered into the application are used to connect to the selected feed. Treat production credentials as sensitive and follow your organization’s credential-handling policy.

A useful demo sequence

For a representative test:

  1. connect to the demo endpoint with the supplied temporary credentials;
  2. confirm that the expected symbols appear and continue to update;
  3. observe one normal, active symbol and one less-active symbol;
  4. record the round-trip estimate from the intended office or hosting location;
  5. repeat the same checks against the backup endpoint; and
  6. compare the visual result with the destination platform and an independent reference.

The verification methodology turns those checks into a repeatable acceptance record.

For operational verification

For a production integration, combine a visual check with:

  • a reference client that completes the actual feed handshake;
  • structured monitoring of activity and delivery;
  • keepalive and configuration-version checks; and
  • simultaneous primary-versus-backup comparison.
